Photographer Jelle Mollema followed the barbers and hair cutters closely for two years. In their own establishments in Rotterdam after working in the pub, on the way to music festivals, at tattoo conventions and waiting for a colleague who will be released at the gate of the prison. Mollema's penetrating photography shows a special world. A bearded male world in which a lot of bullshit, but little is said. A world in which women are only welcome in the conversations of the barbers and their guests. The dialogues in the book were written by Bor Rooyackers. With a foreword by Eric Corton.
